Gable End Conservatories

Gable conservatories are reminiscent of a glamorous bygone era, when grand Georgian houses had imposing and prominent glass rooms attached for an added design feature.

Nowadays, a gable-end conservatory - which is often also referred to as a gable-front conservatory - is a stylish way to bring additional space and light into your home.

Learn more about Gable End Conservatories

Whereas orangeries usually have a stunning glass lantern roof sitting on top of its roof structure, a gable-end conservatory maximises the natural light coming into your home by having an imposing glass front elevation with windows extending to the apex of the roof.

Because the front remains upright, much like the end of a house, a gable-end conservatory is usually square or rectangular in shape. This means none of the floor space in the interior of your gable-end conservatory is wasted because of awkward corners.

Few conservatory styles capture the proud architectural heritage of a traditional garden room like a gable-front conservatory. Stately and stylish, they allow you to enjoy lots of extra space and light.

It does not matter which gable end conservatory designs are your preferred choice either. Each one of our gable conservatories are able to create lots of useable extra room, which can be utilised as a traditional garden room to sit and relax in, a dining room, living room, office or extra play space for little ones. The choice is yours.

Established in 1971, EYG are experts in gable-end conservatory designs - fill in our call-back form and arrange for a designer to visit your home to carry out a complimentary survey. To find out more about how much our gable-end conservatory costs, call 0800 181888 for a free no-obligation quote!

What roof styles are there?

There are many roof options for your gable conservatory, from Polycarbonate, or self-cleaning glass to thermally-insulated tiled conservatory roofs, which help to regulate the temperature inside and make your space all year round.

If you would prefer to have a stunning interior with alternating glass and aluminium panels, check out what the Hybrid roof system has to offer, a combination of glass and plastered panels which can be painted to suit your individual taste.

What materials can a gable conservatory be made from?

As with all of our conservatories, we will design your gable-end conservatory in exactly the style you want - whether that is in aluminium, uPVC or timber.

You can also whether to have a dwarf wall all the way round or a full-height wall on one side if you are trying to make it blend in with your home's existing appearance.
