Our industry leading accreditations - giving you peace of mind over our work and products
With more than four decades of experience in making improvements to peoples’ homes, we know customers not only want the very best value for money, but they also want industry leading products which meet the highest standards of safety and security.
That is why our team at EYG is always developing and improving its product range, providing our customers with windows and doors which not only meet industry standards, but are Government and Home Office approved for helping prevent crime.
Secured by Design
We are proud to be able to provide windows and doors to Secured by Design standard, the official UK Police flagship standard for products which have been designed and developed to ‘design out crime’. The Home Office backed Secured by Design accreditation is only given to products meeting standards and tests showing they prevent or reduce crime, usually by resistance to physical attack.
Products meeting British Standards
EYG’s windows and doors meet all required British Standards, including those relating to:
- Energy savings
- Sound reduction
- Electrical products
- Enhanced Security
Quality products – led by quality management
EYG is accredited to ISO 9001 standard in Quality Management – a certification only given to businesses than can continually demonstrate their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet the needs of their customers and others.
We’re authorised by Government approved regulator
EYG is an authorised installer of double glazing by FENSA, a government authorised Competent Persons Scheme for the replacement of windows, doors and roof lights.
Recognised as the double glazing industry leader, FENSA has issued over 9 million window and door homeowner certificates and works with double glazing contractors across England and Wales. In choosing a FENSA double glazing registered company such as EYG, customers are offered greater protection when purchasing double glazing for their home.
To receive your Fensa certificate we must have a customers email address. Fensa will then email the IWG Policy direct to you, our customer.
Your FENSA certificate provides proof that your window and door installations:
- Comply with Building Regulations
- Use energy efficient products
- Are registered with the local council
- It also means the installation company’s warranty is insured.
What’s covered? FENSA covers the replacement of external windows, doors, roof windows and roof lights in your home, against the relevant Building Regulations. Note that the property must be cited on its original footprint, and the use and size of rooms mustn’t be altered.
