Steel-Look Doors

Crittall doors are black steel-framed doors with a grid-like appearance.

They originate from the 1880s, but are currently seeing a popularity surge with many self-builders favouring them.

If you choose steel-look windows, you are likely going to want a smilar door to match. EYG has launched a steel-look range of both windows and doors, for style-conscious home owners who are looking for the 'wow' factor and something different for their home.

We can manufacture steel-look doors in both UPVC or aluminium, with aluminium frames being slightly slimmer.

Customers can choose from Steel-look front doors or rear doors; and we can also manufacture this style in bifold, patio and French doors too.

Traditionally,the Crittall door is made of steel and is trademarked by the Crittall family.

EYG has a version of this style of door made in either aluminium or UPVC, which is cheaper than the original and yet has the same effect.

We use black UPVC for our most economical version, but for a slimmer profile at a slightly higher cost, customers can choose aluminium, which is closer in appearance to the original steel Crittall frames.

We can manufacture this style for front and back doors, bifold doors, modern sliding doors, and French doors.
