The ideal lifestyle window choice
Aluminium bifold windows are becoming increasingly popular in UK homes and are commonly used in living rooms, kitchens, and dining areas, where home owners want to connect indoor and outdoor spaces
Bifold windows fold neatly to one side, making them a perfect window style for kitchens – meaning that hosting barbecues and al fresco dinners are far more convenient.
The bifold window is a relatively new innovative solution for home owners and combines practicality and the ‘wow’ factor.
Made from aluminium, which is a very robust, long-lasting and low-maintenance window material, the bifold window has low U-values of just 1.4 and carry a ten-year warranty.

Aluminium bifold windows have a multi-panel design, typically consisting of two or more hinged panels that fold and slide along a track when opened.
One of their main benefits is the flexibility they offer. In the fully folded back position they create one large space which is perfect for home owners who dine outdoors and host barbecues – allowing food and drink to be passed easily from inside to out.
In addition, the lack of frames and large expanse of glass create a very modern looking window which suits contemporary and newbuild homes.
The bifold window also creates a lighter, brighter room due to the use of more glass and less need for frames.
EYG’s bifold windows are manufactured from aluminium, and have excellent U-values of 1.4.

I wanted to replace my conseratory glass roof with a new tiled one with two glass roof lights and thick insulation, so it would be cooler in summer and warmer in winter. I visited their showroom in Febuary and was impressed with their roofs on offer, spoke with manager who was so helpful and came and priced it the following day. Survey done the next week and agreed price . It was planned for a June start date. Alan and Kev came on 16th June to start the job, they are brothers and did a excellent job and nothing was any trouble for them when asked which is nice to see these days. The roof looks great and now the inside is plastered, just needs decorating. Well done to all concerned.
EYG are a very professional business who do excellent work. Their tradesmen are very good at what they do and always friendly and helpful. We have no complaints about the service that we had from start to finish of the build and would recommend EYG to anyone
Brandon and Owen turned up by 0900 made short work of removing the old front door and fitted the new composite door and were away by lunch time clearing up after themselves and leaving no mess. Brilliant.
