Stylish Hull conservatory transformation

Karen and Dave Green, Anlaby, Hull

Why did they choose EYG?

  • Porch and conservatory needed merging into one space
  • Wanted to update an old and tired conservatory
  • A cold polycarbonate roof required replacing
  • Modern uPVC windows necessary to eliminate drafts

What did we do?

Having confirmed exactly what work was required at an initial design consultation, our team arrived and immediately removed the unwanted internal wall to create an area with much more useable living space.

This allowed a previous ‘porch’ and conservatory to merge into one larger, more practical space.

After making the former porch window larger, all the tired windows were replaced with modern new uPVC windows. The polycarbonate roof was removed and an energy-efficient glass replacement roof fitted into place.

How long did it take?

  • The whole project took only a week to fully complete from start to finish.
  • “We actually chose EYG because they told us on their first visit to our home that what we wanted was possible, which was very reassuring,” said Karen, of Kendall Way in Anlaby, Hull.
  • “The team who carried out the work were friendly and very accommodating to our needs. They were also very tidy and kept any disruption to a minimum.
  • “Myself and my husband are very happy with the overall finish and we would definitely recommend EYG to any friends or family if they were considering getting a new conservatory or windows.”
