Stunning & spacious Beverley conservatory

Allan and Monica Freer, from Beverley, East Yorkshire, had moved into a newbuild property and wanted to add a stylish and modern conservatory to maximise their living space.

The couple also went for a Hybrid roof so that they had a thermally-efficient conservatory which has a pleasant temperature whatever the season.

Why did they choose EYG?

  • Wanted stylish new conservatory adding to new-build home
  • A specialist Hybrid roof required to let in extra light
  • Extra living space needed adjacent to south-facing garden
  • Wanted one company to carry out whole project

What did we do?

After confirming the design brief at an initial consultation, our team took eight days to dig and lay the solid concrete base.

After the foundations had settled sufficiently, we took about a week to construct the conservatory frame – installing new windows and a Hybrid roof to create a spacious living area overlooking the south-facing garden.

Our interior team ensured the plastering was carried out to the highest standard, before a patio was installed and all external ground works made good to complete the overall finish.

How long did it take?

  • Due to the scale of this high-value conservatory, the whole project’s construction work took around three weeks.
  • “I was very impressed with the guys who came to carry out the work,” said Allan, of Mill Dam Drive in Beverley. “They explained the whole process, gave reasonable timeframes for completing each stage and kept us well informed about the schedule.
  • "They were also very clean and tidy in their workmanship, placing protective boards on our drive to ensure it wasn’t marked during the construction process.”
  • “The conservatory looks stunning and the build quality is first class, blending in perfectly with the original house. Myself and my wife would be happy to recommend EYG to anyone in the future.”
