Stunning conservatory roof replacement in Saxilby

Mr Daws, Saxilby, Lincolnshire

Why did they choose EYG?

  • Ageing polycarbonate roof was leaky and cold
  • Conservatory was unable to be in use all year round
  • Keen to breathe new life into under-used space
  • Admired EYG’s exclusive Hybrid roof design
  • Wanted garden room to have modern feel

What did we do?

When your lean-to conservatory roof is being supported by homemade timber props to prevent it from falling to the floor, it’s definitely time for a much-needed makeover!

So, that’s exactly what we helped the homeowners to do at their lovely detached Lincolnshire property.

After quickly establishing that the old polycarbonate roof had seen better days, we worked with the homeowner to design a Hybrid conservatory roof that would inject new life into their sizeable – but under used – living space.

Having removed and recycled the previous plastic roof, we quickly got to work installing the new white Hybrid roof with two blue-tinted glazed panels to let natural light come flooding in.

Thanks to the two subtle hipped sections on the new Hybrid roof, which has been plastered and finished internally in a crisp white, this lean-to conservatory in Saxilby, Lincolnshire, can now proudly boast a much more modern edge.

A magnificent difference for a superb extra living space which enjoys magical views of the garden.

How long did it take?

  • With no planning permission needed, this stunning 3.6m by 5.6m Hybrid roof was installed using permitted development rights under Building Regulations.
  • As a result, it only took us a few weeks to design and make the roof – and just a week to complete the impressive installation.
