Replacement conservatory roof project in Barnetby, Lincolnshire | EYG

Marlene and Alan Gibbons, Barnetby near Brigg

Why did they choose EYG?

  • Existing conservatory too hot in summer, too cold in winter
  • Needed a replacement conservatory roof to regulate temperature
  • Wanted new French doors fitting to open onto garden
  • Old windows had to be replaced to prevent draughts
  • Keen to create second lounge area to use all year round

What did we do?

Having outlined the conservatory roof replacement process at the initial design consultation, our installation team immediately removed the old and ineffective polycarbonate roof.

They also dispensed with the outdated uPVC windows and French doors, before replacing them with new energy-efficient versions.

Attention then switched to fitting a stylish new bespoke Hybrid roof, which features four glass panels, to help keep the room warm in winter and cool in summer.

Once this step was complete, the interior was plastered and painted white to achieve a fresh, modern look.
