What did we do?
Replacing the old polycarbonate roof – which was making the room cold and dark – held the key to bringing this large underused conservatory back to life.
Opting for a new eco smart glass roof with tinted blue glazing instantly opened up the 12sqm space, flooding it with natural light. Now it feels far brighter and the conservatory no longer suffers from temperature fluctuations during hot or cold weather.
Where a set of patio doors used to create a physical barrier, there now stands a beautiful wall of white aluminium bifolds. Now the homeowners can draw all four panes back with ease to seamlessly link the main lounge and their new light-filled living space.
Gone are the days of having a tired old conservatory bolted on to the back of the house. In its place is a luxurious multi-purpose space which can be used for dining, entertaining or simply somewhere to relax and take in views of the garden.
