Beautiful dual-finish UPVC windows

This couple wanted chosen dark brown frames for the outside and white UPVC frames on the inside when choosing new windows for their Lincolnshire home.

Why did they choose EYG?

  • Needed to update ageing wooden windows
  • Wanted fresh and modern brown uPVC windows
  • Eager to have a white finish on the inside of frames
  • Keen to achieve a lighter and brighter interior
  • Wanted to add kerb appeal with new front door

What did we do?

In order to achieve a lighter and brighter feel throughout the whole house, the homeowners opted for modern uPVC window with a stylish dual-colour finish.

Having chosen dark brown frames for the outside and white on the inside, our installation team quickly got to work removing and replacing the windows at the rear of the property.

At the front, the bay window required slightly more time and specialist attention due to the nature of the frame's angles.

However, the flawless final finish was well worth the effort and is definitely in keeping with the overall style of the premises.

To complete this dramatic home transformation in Gainsborough we added a stylish new composite door for extra kerb appeal.

Finished externally in a subtle shade of sage green, the interior white appearance complements the existing clean country look.

How long did it take?

  • As is the case with most of our window installations, this project only took a few days to complete.
  • Thankfully, the stylish appearance should look great for years to come.
  • “The old windows were actually perfectly good, but you could tell that after 14 years they were coming to the ed of their life pretty quickly,” explained homeowner Alan, a former ITV presenter on Calendar news.
  • “They were originally dark wood on the inside and outside, so we thought let's have the inside white – and it's really increased the lightness of all the rooms at the front and back.”
