EYG windows are now A-rated as standard
8th June 2016
EYG windows are now A-rated as standard, giving customers the best product on the market and preventing 94 per cent energy loss.
The windows are the highest-possible rating for energy efficiency, compared to conventional double glazing which has an E-rating for energy.
Less heat loss means lower heating bills, which is great news for customers, as well as the environment.
The A-rated windows are far superior to conventional double glazing.
They have a foam Super Spacer which works more efficiently than the traditional metal spacers.
The Super Spacer dramatically cuts condensation, which in turn reduces bacteria and mould, which is great news for people with respiratory conditions.
In addition, the Super Spacer provides a better acoustic rating, reducing noise by up to 2Db, as the foam spacer absorbs more noise, leaving your home free from noise pollution.
The benefits of A-rated windows are:
- A-rated windows prevent up to 94 per cent heat loss
- 70 per cent reduced condensation than conventional double glazing which leads to less allergens in the home
- Up to 65 per cent warmer internal edge temperature
- Leads to lower fuel bills
- Less energy consumed resulting in lower carbon emissions
