Couple delighted as heritage door gives their new EYG Garden Room a ‘stylish, unique and modern’ look

The beauty of an EYG Garden Room is that you can tailor it to your exact wishes – and happy EYG customers Mr & Mrs Anstice did just that when choosing to incorporate our stunning heritage doors into the design
The couple, of East Yorkshire, say the flexibility offered by EYG – not only in the size and style of their Garden Room - but also in payment options too – made it a ‘perfect solution’ for their needs.
With the installation completed last Autumn and used for extra storage as they have renovated their home, the couple are now excited to enjoy their first summer in the 3.8m x 2.5m space, which they intend to use for relaxing, reading and to listen to music.
Stephen says he was impressed with EYG’s fitting teams, and also the flexibility offered when completing the purchase, as they were able to take up the option of a six-month interest-free finance offer.
He said he was delighted they were shown the option of using EYG Heritage doors on their garden room, providing a unique blend of style and industrial charm.

“We’ve been delighted with EYG and the Garden Room really looks the part,” said Stephen.
“We bought the Garden Room at a time when we were moving home, and so we designed it to be in keeping with how we have renovated our bungalow, with graphite panelling and the black aluminium heritage door, which really fits in well.
“We hadn’t really considered having the heritage door, but once it was shown to us my wife was really keen to have them and we are glad we did as they look really stylish and modern.
“We were able to design the Garden Room we wanted, at a price we wanted, and with a payment plan we needed at the time to give us some breathing space as we completed our house move.
“It was a really straight-forward process and the installation team ensured everything was perfect. Now we’re looking forward to getting years of enjoyment from it.”
No planning required and just a week to build
Most Garden Rooms don’t need planning permission, with the build time usually around a week on a standard size, including base, timber and UPVC frame, roof, glazing and final additions of electrics and heating.
Customers are able to choose not only the size, but also the colour of the external cladding, internal cladding, and the flooring, as well as the position type of windows and doors.
“People love our Garden Rooms because it’s a blank canvas to start from and create your own space, for whatever use you want, from an entertaining space to a garden office, home bar or gym,” said John Waugh, Domestic Sales and Marketing Director.
“This is a great example of a customer using our expertise to create something very different to the norm. It looks fantastic and we are delighted that they are so happy with it.”
EYG Garden Rooms come with a comprehensive 10-year ‘repair or replace’ warranty, and can be bought on a Buy Now, Pay Later offer, meaning customers have nothing to pay for six months.
