FAQs

Learn more about Lean to Conservatories

Boasting flat sides and single-angled sloping roof, the lean-to conservatory is probably the UK's most popular conservatory style because it's a light and airy rectangular room that can be used for multiple purposes. A simple structure which is straightforward to design and build, lean to conservatories can perfectly bridge the gap between your home and garden – taking full advantage of any natural sunlight, particularly in the summer months.

Sometimes known as a Mediterranean conservatory, they can be designed to incorporate dwarf walls and full brickwork sides or simply be constructed entirely from glazing. This simplicity means lean to conservatories are often more affordable to build than complex or angled alternatives.

Whether you want to use the space as a garden room, dining room, play room, home office or extra living room for everyone to enjoy, its simple rectangular shape will ensure that you can use every inch of available floor space. A sensible but stylish option when a small conservatory is required.

With no deposit needed and a range of flexible funding available - including the option to buy now and pay nothing for 12 months, investing in a lean to conservatory has never been easier. Transform your home and lifestyle today, get in touch for a free quote or call 0800 181888 now!

Alan Proctor, July 2025

I wanted to replace my conseratory glass roof with a new tiled one with two glass roof lights and thick insulation, so it would be cooler in summer and warmer in winter. I visited their showroom in Febuary and was impressed with their roofs on offer, spoke with manager who was so helpful and came and priced it the following day. Survey done the next week and agreed price . It was planned for a June start date. Alan and Kev came on 16th June to start the job, they are brothers and did a excellent job and nothing was any trouble for them when asked which is nice to see these days. The roof looks great and now the inside is plastered, just needs decorating. Well done to all concerned.

EYG are a very professional business who do excellent work. Their tradesmen are very good at what they do and always friendly and helpful. We have no complaints about the service that we had from start to finish of the build and would recommend EYG to anyone

Brandon and Owen turned up by 0900 made short work of removing the old front door and fitted the new composite door and were away by lunch time clearing up after themselves and leaving no mess. Brilliant.
