As a company, we have grown through natural expansion, and through acquiring other companies operating in a similar field. This means that while our head offices and manufacturing are based in Hull, we are able to serve customers on a national basis not only through EYG itself, but also through regional names such as Heatseal in the Midlands, and Jon windows in Wales.
We employ approximately 300 people within the group, people who share our values and high standards. We recruit the best people, motivate them well and reward their loyalty to our company and our customers. This means that again our customers benefit - from well-trained professional staff, qualified craftsmen and from a commitment to service right down the line.
As a responsible company, we work to all applicable British and professional standards. We not only satisfy the stringent standards of outside authorities, but also implement our own on-going quality control methods. Each unit is methodically and meticulously checked before leaving our factory, with inspection operatives signing and dating each unit. This allows us to track back to source in the event of queries. Full warranties are available for all work and we will guarantee on a basis appropriate to your particular project, covering frame, glass, working parts as relevant.
Our core standards:
- All aluminium products extruded to AM62 Alloy 150 EN 601 53 with mechanical properties guaranteed to BS 1474:1987 6063-T6
- All PVC-u products are extruded to BS 7413
- Guardian Gold is manufactured to BS 7412
- All aluminium and PVC-u products are weather tested to BS 6375 parts 1 & 2
- Reinforcement in aluminium or galvanised steel to BS EN 110142 and 10143 on all PVC-u products
- Double glazed sealed with an EDPM dry glazing system in accordance with BS 7412
EYG is committed to updating to new British Standards such as BS 7950 which is currently applied for. As an ISO 9000 company we must maintain a strict standard in the way we go about our business - our management systems are constantly monitored by BSI.
